It is always our primary goal to ensure that all Missouri FCCLA event attendees have a positive experience, which includes the health and safety of all attendees. To do so, we ask that you and your students NOT spray aerosol sprays in common and conference areas where other conference attendees are. One of our members has a severe aerosol allergy, which will result in anaphylactic shock and required emergency response. This includes hairsprays, dry shampoo, spray hand sanitizers, perfumes, and more – any bottle or can that is a SPRAY. If sprayed in your hotel room, away from the crowd, and is on your clothing/skin/hair, there is no alarm – only the spray itself is dangerous. Please be conscientious of this at State Leadership Conference and ask your chapter attendees to refrain from using sprays in common conference areas
